Having known my business partner during and after graduate studies, and in the early years of our professional careers, it is a pleasure to co-own this business with Elizabeth Sewell. We share a passion for treating trauma, and serving this community.
My professional background includes directing and co-facilitating an intensive outpatient program (IOP), group therapy program for addictions and trauma. Prior to the IOP, I worked with severely emotionally disturbed youth, both in the school and clinical setting. I have experience as an adjunct with UAF’s psychology department, offering a psychology course in coordination with the Student Support Services’ TRIO program. My personal background includes growing up with horses and riding for most of my life, as well as offering riding instruction for a number of years. I enjoy fishing, being in the outdoors, painting, writing, and spending time with my family.
I am passionate about supporting individuals in healing from past trauma, strengthen a sense of purpose, instill hope, and thrive. As a certified Brainspotting practitioner, I seek to work with clients who are curious about their options to address and heal from past trauma. I am also an EAGALA certified mental health professional, offering equine assisted psychotherapy right here in Fairbanks. As an LPC-S, I work with pre-licensed clinicians to support their journey toward licensure.
I currently have a full waitlist and am not able to take new clients at this time.

Specializing in working with adults who have experienced trauma, Liz utilizes specific trauma treatment reprocessing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, and Prolonged Exposure (PE) to address and treat postraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and trauma related symptoms. Her focus extends to working with Military, Veteran, and First Responder related issues. In addition, she works as a clinician on the Fairbanks Mobile Crisis Team. Liz views the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change when collaboration, commitment and authenticity are present. Liz offers compassionate and experienced supervision for pre-licensed clinicians working towards licensure.

I’m Angelina (she/her), a Latinx, first-generation, neurodivergent, pre-licensed counselor working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Alaska. I provide counseling to adults, couples (LGBTQ+ and poly couples are welcome), and youth on a case-by-case basis.
I value authenticity and bring my genuine self into the therapeutic space. This may include moments where I get excited explaining counseling concepts or occasionally stumble over my words, something I see as part of being human and building real connection.
My approach is trauma-informed and centers on helping clients regulate their nervous systems and find long-term relief.
I am a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner and a Certified Mental Health Specialist in the EAGALA Model of Equine-Assisted Therapy. I also integrate other evidence-based modalities into my work and will soon be trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to further support trauma processing and nervous system regulation.
I have experience working in residential treatment, intensive outpatient programs, community mental health, and private practice. I work with individuals experiencing prolonged grief, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship concerns, substance use, autism, ADHD, and concerns related to military service and first responder experiences. I am also pursuing additional specialized training in the treatment of OCD.
I truly love what I do and deeply respect the complexities of the worlds my clients live in. My hope is that you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered in our sessions, and that you recognize the courage it takes to seek relief and change.

I am a master’s level clinician working towards becoming a licensed counselor. My past experiences have included working with individuals across all age ranges, from 7 through 70, both individually and in groups. Prior to relocating to Fairbanks in 2022, I worked as a counselor with teens in a school-based program for five years, while also interning in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings for two years. My experience since then has included working with adults within the criminal justice system that struggle with severe mental illness and substance use.
I have also held a certification as a chemical dependency counselor over the past two years with experience conducting drug and alcohol assessments to assess treatment needs and facilitating psychoeducational groups focusing on building mental health and substance use resources and skills for individuals that struggle with various addictions.
I believe that we all hold the power to overcome any obstacle and that we need not be defined by our past. My goal is to help empower those I work with in their transition from where they are to where they want to be. My eclectic therapeutic approach draws from various modalities including CBT, REBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused therapies.

I am a master’s-level counseling student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, completing my clinical internship at Catalyst Counseling & Wellness Group. I work with adults of all ages and strive to create a counseling space that feels thoughtful, respectful, and grounded in genuine human connection.
My approach is humanistic and client-centered. I’m especially interested in exploring questions around meaning, identity, values, and life direction. I believe people are deeply shaped by their experiences and the world around them, and I aim to meet each client with curiosity, compassion, and cultural humility. I also take a strengths-based approach, helping clients recognize their resilience and build on the abilities they already have.
I see counseling as a collaborative process and value creating an authentic, nonjudgmental space where people feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions. I particularly enjoy supporting adults who are navigating life transitions, stress, self-exploration, or periods of uncertainty.
I have lived in Fairbanks for over 12 years, where I’ve raised my three children and built strong roots in the community. Connection and service are important to me and shape the way I show up as a counselor. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, ceramics, exploring new ideas and places, and spending time with my family.
